WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION

At your first session you will be asked to complete a Health History Form which will give the Reflexologist a look at your health to determine what kind of pressure will be appropriate and what specific Reflexology modality to use. 

You are welcome to the reclining chair or massage table for your session. The Reflexologist will then pursue to cleanse your feet.

While the Reflexologist is working on your feet, hands or ears you are allowed to relax and listen to the sound of background music. Cream or powder might be applied. 

Please inform your Reflexologist of any allergies before the start of the session!

Reflexology is usually a very pleasant and relaxing therapy. Some reflexes might be tender to touch. Please advise your Reflexologist so that the pressure can be adjusted.

COMMON RESPONSES TO A REFLEXOLOGY SESSION

Everyone is different. Therefore, responses to reflexology differ too. Some reactions may take place during the session or up to a few days after. These may include:

• Feeling tired or energized
• Feeling cold
• Emotional or psychological release
• Muscle twitches
• Sensation of floating
• Perspiration
• Gentle cleansing of the body
• Feeling relaxed
