THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS - COMBINING REFLEXOLOGY AND MERIDIAN THERAPY
Prerequisite: Reflexology 1 or any 100 hour Reflexology program.
Description: This workshop is aimed at Reflexologists who want to incorporate more of the TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) principles into their Reflexology practice.
The Meridians can be blocked anywhere along their energy pathways resulting in discomfort or health issues to your clients.
According to many acupuncturists, the points most commonly used in acupuncture treatments are located at or below the knee and elbow. These points are also known as the ‘antique points’ and give consistently good results even though they are far away from the crucial organs and control centers of the body.
While this workshop is not intended as a substitute for medical diagnosis, the acquired knowledge will help identify which meridians are affected and how to release blockages by working both the meridians on the feet and hands as well as on the related reflexes.
During this 2-day workshop students will learn the main disorders brought on by blocked or disrupted meridians as well as the locations of the acupuncture energy points located on the feet. The main focus will be on learning a routine on how to incorporate some meridian work into a ‘complete’ reflexology session and how to give a full Foot- Meridian Reflexology session.

Part 1of 2: The Spiritual and/or Energetic Meaning of the Reflexes
Part 2 of 2: The Art of Foot Reading
Prerequisite: Reflexology 1 or any 100 hour Reflexology program
Description: Part 1 of 2: The Reflexes are the indicators on where in the body we are most likely to find imbalances or even blockages. But the question is, how did they get there in the first place?
Every Reflex has a ‘deeper’ meaning. More than to what Body System or to what Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine it belongs. Every Reflex holds a Spiritual or Energetic meaning with a lot of information. Information that can help your client find a way of recognizing old patterns and subsequently changing or eliminating them.
Knowledge of what is going on is often the best defense! The understanding what the reason to feeling ill or not at ease might be will often heal the body instantaneously. ‘Letting go’ will become much easier.
This workshop will teach you:
Part 2 of 2: Foot Reading is different than Palmistry. It is used to find out what clues from the past have brought your client to his or her current state of health.
Reflexologists all over the World have come to realize that ‘unlocking’ old patterns and beliefs is another key to helping your clients bringing their bodies back to balance.
The positioning of the toes, the coloring of the skin and nails, the location of calluses, blisters, bruises, and puffiness –are all clues to what might be the reason for your client’s health issues. In addition, clues to your client’s characteristics and basic make-up are all ‘written’ on the feet. Reading the feet is not difficult, if you know how.
Reading the feet can be a lot of fun and practiced by itself. However, if you choose to use Foot Reading in combination with the knowledge of the deeper meaning of every reflex, it can be a priceless tool for your client to find back to health.
