While meditating a few years ago, I was guided to rework my website and repeatedly shown eucalyptus branches. This prompted me to look up the 'spiritual meaning of eucalyptus' and I found the following information:
SYMBOLISM of Eucalyptus
The eucalyptus is a holy tree for the First Nations Australians. For them it represents the connection of underworld, earth and heaven. The eucalyptus leaf has a purifying effect, as negative energy disappears in the place where a eucalyptus leave is burned. Eucalyptus is considered to attract positive energy, using it is a way to heal both the body and the spirit.
MESSAGE from Eucalyptus
The Spirit of Eucalyptus wants us to awaken to our true power and visualize a new way of being. Now is the time to draw on our inner resources and challenge ourselves to overcome the obstacles that lay in our path.
HEALING properties of Eucalyptus
The eucalyptus leaves were first used by the First Nations Australians to heal most wounds. The leaves were made into infusions and used to heal body pains, colds, sinus congestions and fevers, hence the nickname "fever tree'. The healing properties of eucalyptus essential oil are many and they are attributed to its antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant and deodorant qualities. It is a purifying, cleansing, clearing, immune boosting essential oil that is ideal for use on skin, in aromatherapy, and as a surface cleaning agent.
